Founded in 1993 by Beth Cross and Pam Parker in Union City, CA, Ariat was a leader on bringing Western Style to the fashion forefront in the early 2000’s, and hired Global Accessory Resource to develop new collections of contemporary handbags and accessories.

As a Product Designer and the lead Graphic Artist at Global Accessory Resource, I was thrilled to work with this western giant.

As we were hired to bring Ariat’s western accessories to the height of the western market as well as the fashion forefront, I analyzed current fashion trends as well as Ariat’s rich design library to storyboard our first handbag collections, which would then individually connect their Western, English or Fashion categories.  I drew flowing floral embroidery designs, created intricate, multi-tiered, leather cut-out designs, logo textile prints, and sparkling and studded leather handbags .  Ariat champions excellence in both quality and utility, we selected high quality leathers an created beautiful custom hardware to create beautiful bags that were features in catalogs and print ads, and sold online and in-store at a variety of Ariat retailers.
