As a Product Designer and the lead Graphic Artist at Global Accessory Resource, bebe was one of my largest private label clients.

I designed for bebe at their height in the 2000’s, during the time when the company enlisted numerous celebrities to front its campaigns; including Rebecca Romijn, Eva Longoria and Mischa Barton. Bebe’s ads were everywhere, filling up fashion magazines, and larger than life on buses, train terminals and city walls, and they often featured many of the collections I designed and helped create at Global Accessory Resource.

Fashion Forward Accessory Design

I spent hours analyzing current runway shows, distilling current trends, and gathering all possible direction from the lead fashion and accessory buyers at bebe to create mood boards to shape our collections each season. From there, I created original screen prints, new textile patterns, intricate embroideries and appliqué designs. I would then work with my team at Global Accessory Resource to select the perfect materials and develop that shapes for each collections. Then it was my respojnsibility to draw up each piece in the collection and finish each piece with the perfect trim details, hardware and embellishments. Along these same lines, I also drew and designed an endless amount of hardware, jewelry, small leather goods and key items.
