Forever 21’s retro little sister
As a Product Designer and the lead Graphic Artist at Global Accessory Resource, I was delighted to design for this new retail concept.
I created original artwork and many new accessory lines for the Heritage 1981, including handbags, key chains, Small leather goods, jewelry, pet and hair accessories. The company itself had a natural, bohemian vibe…so the artwork had a free spirited, nature-based aesthetic, but still maintained its parent company’s humor and wit. I created screen prints, embroidery, appliqué designs, and full product collections that were featured online and sold in the brick and mortar stores.
A new concept store for industry giant Forever 21, Heritage 1981 reached out to a whole new market with its vintage, retro vibe.
Introducing higher quality clothing made of all natural fibers, these new stores offered collections for both men and women. Heritage 21 stores featured classically inspired, woven pieces with colorful prints and plaids, knits, and carefully faded denim.
